All the money that goes for rescues, animal care, maintenance and education projects/activities come from the community help and everyone that believes in our cause. We are very grateful for any help, as small as it can be.

Other Ways to Help

Volunteer

We accept volunteers year-round. Volunteers learn first-hand how to care and maintain animal habitats, prepare daily diets, physically handle different animals, and educate visitors about them. There is no required for volunteer hours per week. We just ask that you’re able to stay for at least 2 hours each time you come out!

To apply for volunteer opportunities, you must be 14+ years old.

In-Kind Donations

NTAC is always looking for generous and talented individuals that can help our organization grow and accomplish its mission. We are looking for anyone with media outlets to come and spread the word of our facility and mission.

GENTLY used towels, blankets, etc. can always be used here, summer-time treats for the critters (iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, melons, etc.) are always appreciated, cleaning/disinfecting supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, first aid supplies (alcohol wipes, band-aids, etc.), medical supplies (needles with syringes, syringes without needles, gloves, masks, etc.) can be used as well. We have several options for our memberships, starting from single memberships for $75 and multiple family packages ($150-215) to best fit your family!

Memberships are valid for ONE full year after purchase (i.e. June 2023-June 2024). NO exceptions.

Adopt an Animal

Adopting means creating a special bond with one of the residents and becoming an important part of his/her life. You are helping cover part of their care. Visit Our Animals page for more information.

Wishlist

You can donate items from our Wish List of consumable items that we can always need at our Forney Campus (“The Gentle Zoo”). Please visit our list on Amazon.com to make purchases that will be sent directly to our facility.

Gift Cards

We are always appreciative of gift cards to places like Wal-Mart, Chewy’s, Tractor Supply, Amazon, and many more. These can be sent to us electronically or given to us in person.
